In their own words

We have had minis for 20 years. This one is like a cheap copy of a mini. The entertainment system is a complete disaster. It’s dangerous to use while driving even to do basic things like change the temperature in the car. The response from Mini is use the audio control to change the volume, but I’m the Customer and I’d actually like a knob to turn to change the temperature hotter or colder. It’s full of gimmicky tech and feels like driving a toy iPad rather than a car. The range is very disappointing and is nowhere near the published range. However, the car does drive very well. I don’t think it’ll be long before Mini change the entertainment and interior because the feedback must be terrible. I have been back to the dealer multiple times. We love minis but the whole range has now changed to this new look. If we find a low mileage one we might buy an older model next or we’ll have to go elsewhere. We will not be buying another new mini whilst they have this new plasticy and over the top tech feel.
